My name is Janette and I am very excited to be returning for my fifth summer on staff at Camp Washington! I am a rising senior at Emmanuel College studying Elementary Education. My name is Kara Bowen, and I am so excited to come back to Camp Washington for my fourth year on staff! I’m from Trumbull, Connecticut and study Integrated Marketing Communications and Spanish at Ithaca College. During the year, I spend most of my time writing, acting in a theater ensemble, and counting down the days until another summer at CW!

Katie Earley will be returning as Arts and Crafts Coordinator for her sixth summer on staff. Katie is from Wallingford, Connecticut and is currently studying illustration at Lesley University. She spent the last semester studying on the Gold Coast of Australia and is excited to come back to the US and spend another fun summer at Camp Washington!

Caitlin Filiato will be our 2019 Wilderness Adventure Coordinator! Caitlin is excited to be returning for her 2nd year at Camp Washington! She is a recent graduate of Dickinson College. She loves hiking, spending time with her friends & dogs, and traveling. She looks forward to making more amazing memories at camp, reuniting with old friends & making new ones!

Tristan Filiato will be a cabin counselor for this year at camp. He is a sophomore at Connecticut College. In his free time he love to hike and swim. He is very exited to be a counselor this summer after having attended camp for many years!

Hi, my name is Laura and I will be a Camp Counselor this year! I am a rising sophomore at the University of Connecticut studying Allied Health. I love to be outside, to travel, and to spend time with friends. I was a camper at Camp Washington for eight years and can’t wait to be back this summer to create more memories!

I’m Zoe Lloyd and I am SO THRILLED to come back to Camp Washington! I'm studying music and neuroscience at the University of North Carolina. I like to run, make music, and compete on my school cheerleading team. I can’t wait to spend time at the waterfront, make tons of bracelets, & hang out by the campfire - I’m so excited for another summer at CW!

Julia Manwaring is returning to Camp for her 11th summer - 2nd year as a staff member! She has lived in CT all her life and plans to attend Hofstra University this fall, majoring in Dance & Psychology. Julia loves to dance, swim and make friendship bracelets.

Hi everyone! I’m Kris Martin, and I am the waterfront director this summer. I have been an aquatics person since the age of 17 and have over 15 years experience as a waterfront director. I am so excited to join the Camp Washington team in 2019. See you all in the water!

My name is Matthew Mize, I’m a pianist, a boxer, and a Star Wars enthusiast. I love all things nerdy, just about any type of music, and I’m super goofy. I look forward to meeting my campers this summer!

Hi! My name is Wojtek Molenda. I am a student of finances and accounting studying to be an auditor/CFO in the future. I love to play sports (especially basketball), watch films, hang out with friends, and learn new languages. I think that I am an ambitious and energetic person who wants to meet new and interesting friends to share knowledge and experiences!

April Regan is excited to be returning to Camp as Assistant Director. She loves hiking, s'mores, and singing as loud as possible at campfires and can't wait to do all of it at camp. April is a high school teacher during the year, and is excited to be the Assistant Director this summer!

Hi, I’m Sophie. I'm a senior at Cheshire high school. I am involved in the fire department in my town & love to swim and enjoy anything art related. I cannot wait to make memories and have tons of fun this summer at camp!

Rachel Tramposch is a rising sophomore at Smith College. She is very excited to be a cabin counselor! Cherishing her years at camp and being involved in religious and spiritual life on her campus, Rachel can't wait to combine these aspects of her life while having fun in the great outdoors!
